Art. David Ellis

Art. David Ellis: I'm obsessed with analog gadgets. And... it may be a problem. There's something about static and phonographs that brings me a sense of comfort. Don't ask me to describe it, but for some reason it's a nice little zone of serendipity. Anyway, since analog is the jam, naturally I'd find David Ellis' work appealing.
My man places speakers, turntables and other analog gadgets in the most unique places. You might find a turntable installed in a tree trunk, or a speaker in a curvaceous casing. You really can't lose with this cat. He reminds me of a combination of artist - ranging from Nara to Brendan Monroe to the HVW8 cats. His work is mad inspiring. Check out his works at the 222 Gallery [here]
