Film. What's Your Big Idea?

Film. What's Your Big Idea?: Everybody thinks they have the next Oscar winning movie in their head. Well at least I do, and I'm sure you do too. Getty Images is giving us the opportunity to become upstart filmakers!

The Next Big Idea (TNBI) is a peer-juried, short-film competition. There are three stages: pitch, rough cut and final cut. Pitches can take the shape of a finished piece, animatic, style frames, storyboard or, simply words. As part of the project, TNBI registrants will receive complimentary imagery (film clips and stills, five of each). The images can be used to get ideas flowing for TNBI or whatever – they're yours whether you participate as a filmaker or a critic. Pitches are due November 4, 2005, so get crackin'! Pitch your idea [Here]
