Film. Everyone Says I Love You

Film. Everyone Says I Love You: Everyone Says I Love You might be Woody Allen's best film. My girlfriend loves it and she hates almost all of Woody's flicks. If that's not enough for you, it's a musical.
The story has all of Allen's usual elements. Joe (Woody Allen) is a writer who lives in Paris. After he gets dumped by his latest girlfriend, he considers suicide and decides to return to New York. Once back in New York he is consoled by his best friends, who are his ex-wife Steffi (Goldie Hawn) and her current husband Bob (Alan Alda). The people in the film have complicated lives and they are all seeking the simplicity of true love. Maybe that isn't the deepest story, but it's the kind of witty romantic escapism that we happen to love.
Be sure to put Everyone Says I Love You in your queue.
