Artist. Hi-Tek

Artist. Hi-Tek I miss Rawkus. I really miss Black Star and Reflection Eternal. Sure, plenty of great hip hop has come out since 2000, but nothing like the tunes Mos Def, Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek put out in their prime. They made music that was thoughtful and timeless. Maybe they were just too smart and authentic for their own good.
Well, Hi-Tek is back. His new album, Hi-Teknology 2, drops in October on Babygrande Records. He has an impressive list of guests: Nas, Common, Talib Kweli, The Game, Ghostface Killah, Snoop Dogg, Slim Thug, Raekwon, Tha Doggpound, Bun B., Q-Tip and Mos Def. Here's hoping that Hi-Tek can channel some of that Rawkus-era magic on this release.
