Artist. My Grammy Family!
Artist. My Grammy Family! There are two songs that we can't get enough of right now. One of them is I Gotcha by Lupe, and the other is Grammy Family by Kanye & Company. We had Grammy Family for a minute, but when we saw this video it gave it new life again. The common theme between the two songs is simple - excitement! It's good to see folks enjoy hip hop because it's hip hop. Not because of the ... well you know the routine - you can fill that in with any monetary device. Anyway, one look at the video and you can't help but get excited about what's to come.
The cameos and lip syncing are too much. Our favorite moment is seeing Taz rhyme part of Kanye's verse. Overall, the video is well shot and maintains Kanye's consistent stream of artistic videos that manage to tilt their hat to mid-nineties hip hop. Get ready people, we feel a golden era coming. Hey, we're idealists in the Dork Camp. View the video below:
