Habitat. Dwell Magazine

Habitat. Dwell Magazine: There's something inspiring about other people's workspaces. It's their cove, niche, bat-cave, secret lair. We love them all.
Recently, Apple featured an article on Dwell Magazine. In it they discuss the mag's mission, and also display a slide show of their work space. It's pretty cool - here's a clip, "Just six years old, the modernist magazine already reaches 300,000 architects, designers, builders, and design-savvy consumers who, says founder Lara Hedberg Deam, 'want an intelligent yet accessible conversation about modern residential design, how it fits in our culture and how it can fit into their lives.' What’s more, thanks to Dwell’s ability to publish across multiple media, Dwell fans can find Dwell on the web, Dwell podcasts, Dwell TV (on Fine Living Network), a Dwell Design Guide, Dwell on Design conferences, Dwell Homes — even a Dwell shoe."

Post Update: We just got word that the editor of Dwell left for unexpected reasons last week. As reported by MocoLoco: "If you are interested in these things, the editor of Dwell magazine abruptly left and the magazine world is aflutter. Apartment Therapy posted the news yesterday and reader comments have poured in, 29 as of this writing. I was the 29th; "I've been following this thread for a couple days. Here's a question, what exactly do we expect from a magazine like Dwell? I saw "more plans and sections" (further up), and "design in unexpected places". How could Dwell be better? What do we want to see/read vs. what we don't want?". Is the reorg a change for the better? Time will tell. In the meantime, what do you think would make Dwell better?"
