Gadgets. Apple Event Round-up

Gadgets. Apple Event Round-up: Apple had another strong showing yesterday. It's pretty cool witnessing a company who can think of an innovation and execute it. If only they could convince the rest of the world to follow them. The introduction of Movies to an improved iTunes UI is impressive. It stands to revolutionize the way people consume and view movies. But, the real question is, will this innovation be profitable for the ones who hold the keys?
Tech Crunch has a fantastic round-up of the event. Wired also posted an interesting article about Apple's movie integration and user interface. It looks like it will be in a serious showdown with TiVo. As reported, "Although movie downloads and the iTV set-top box are hugely significant for Apple, an announcement of similar import has been largely overlooked -- the new navigation scheme in iTunes. As Steve Jobs demonstrated Tuesday, users of iTunes 7 can now flip through their music libraries visually, using a new navigation scheme called Cover Flow."
