Habitat. After School Art
Habitat. After School Art: s.u.n.Arts is doing a lot for Brooklyn. The not-for-profit arts organization, based in New York City and fiscally sponsored by the New York Foundation of the Arts, announced that it will be holding a group art show titled “After School Art” at Laila Lounge in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on September 21.
All artists participating in “After School Art” were encouraged to submit work that embodies the spirit of art done at an after school art program. As usual, s.u.n.Arts encourages artists to break free from their usual art making practices and to create and show art in a supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere. The show will feature the following artists: Carol Tessitore, Chloé Derderian, Chris Chillemi/Robots Will Kill, Ellis G, Esther Sanchez, Honest, J. Penry, Kate and Camilla, Katrin Reifeiss, Kiersten Essenpreis, Mari Dounoue, Patrick Rocha, Ryan Foerster, Ted McGrath, and Thundercut. Check it out.
