Audio. Hello Young World V.II: Mixtapes are like pizza, when they're good - they're good and when they're bad - they're still good. There's just something awesome about someone compiling a bunch of songs for others to hear. Who doesn't like that?
The UK producer, Lushlife, best known for the Kanye West x Beach Boys mashup in 2005, is back with second volume of Hello Young World. The mix is an outgrowth of the 2002 NYC rooftop party series of the same name, where 500 limited edition discs were pressed and circulated. This second installment in the series, features music by Bloc Party, The Shout Out Louds, his own band Ordinaire and classics from the Pixies, Pulp and New Order. Best of all, the entire 20 plus track disc is being made available completely free as an internet download. Enjoy.
