People News. 30 Rock Gets Second Season: Smart comedy is timeless. We were so excited to find out that 30 Rock was renewed for another season. In the offices, we regard this as the best show on television. We watch the shows over and over again - thank you iTunes. And, Time Magazine should make Tracey Morgan man of the year for 2007. The duality of his self-awareness and over characterization provides great social commentary for America today. It's just genius, timeless and everything comedy should be.
As reported by Vibe: "NBC has renewed 30 Rock, the funniest show on television, for a second season. The Tina Fey-created show has received lowish ratings from viewers, but its satirical take on comedy television has been hailed by critics - and hip-hop fans, as recent guests have included LL Cool J and Ghostface Killah. It has also garnered Alec Baldwin Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards for his portrayal as a sleazy network TV CEO."
