People. Madlib and a Gazillion Tunes

madlib.jpg

People. Madlib and a Gazillion Tunes: Integrating filtered beats and personalities is a talent. Madlib gets lost in his world of creativity. While others are pulled out of this musical idealism, the foundation he's built with his partners and label, Stones Throw, allows him to stay there. As a result, he's one of the most prolific artists of our time.

As reported by Pitchfork: "Considering the amount of material the man has released-- not to mention the fact that he probably has months of music that has yet to see the light of day-- my theory about Madlib is that he is actually a bubble-man of sorts, rolling around all day in a human-sized, music studio version of a hamster ball." Read more about Madlib and his creative personalities at Pitchfork. It's a great article.
