Link Heavy. Vote for Queen's Pawn: URB's NEXT 1000 gives its readers a chance to be tastemakers. URB provides the bios, photos, and music; and users get to post comments and pick their favortite artists. We're supremely stoked because Queen's Pawn has been included in the NEXT 1000. We've been into their music since Randomly Flip*.

As reported by URB: "Wu-Tang pretty much nailed that whole chess mythology bit into hip-hop's history and now Queen's Pawn is speaking up for the most "worthless" piece on the board. The duo, Pesky makes the beats and Ali Bey (of Rise and Shine) makes the rhymes, fit together like a the checkered squares on a chessboard--and it's not a scam. Their debut album, 1000 Points of Light is simple in construction yet infinite in potential, never afraid to call out those that need callin' out or to simply have fun. It's a yin-yang centered in real hip-hop, and we're pretty sure that the Wu had something to say about that, too."
