DM: Did you have any issues with the language barrier?

Chike: It’s hard to hit on girls out there, I know a little Spanish so I could get by but when we went to Paris if it wasn’t for one of our homeboys we would’ve been twisted – we didn’t know a lick of French.

DM: What were some of the highlights of the trip?

Chike: In Barcelona the food is good. All the skaters had this spot called Romescos – this little hole in the wall. It was cheap as hell but it was so good. You know something is good when the white folks come to the hood to eat there.

Coodie: In Barcelona everything was against the Moroccans. The Moroccans are like the niggas over there.

Chike: The Moroccans were the coolest ones it seemed like.

DM: Where did y’all stay, near Las Ramblas?

Chike: We stayed off Las Ramblas. We had a dope ass penthouse – there were all these Gaudí mosaics right across from us and we didn’t even realize it until we were out and we saw this postcard.

Coodie: Yeah we were like, ain’t that right by the crib?

Chike: We rented the house, so we had a Halloween party there and had all the locals come through.
